As we celebrate our 25th year in business, which began back in 1999. We believe it’s essential to give back to our community in a meaningful way.
To mark this milestone, we’ve chosen to support a remarkable local charity: The Silver Star Maternity Fund at the JR Hospital. This charity provides crucial assistance to mothers and new-borns who need extra support during this precious time.
The Silver Star Fund was established over 40 years ago by grateful patients who received expert care, enabling them to become parents. Their mission remains unchanged: to enhance maternal care in Oxfordshire. While they don’t replace NHS funding, they supplement it to provide essential extras.

In addition to our own donations and fundraising events throughout our 25th year, we’re reaching out to our valued customers and suppliers for their support. We would like to place a Silver Star collection box prominently to gather the following items for our market stall:
- Children’s items:
- New or barely used toys
- Books
- Puzzles
- Clothes (in excellent condition)
- Adult items:
- Puzzles
- Reading books (also in good condition)
We commit to collecting these goods weekly and delivering them to Bicester, where Carole Malone, Matthew, and Rita run the stall. Their dedication ensures that the funds raised benefit this incredible charity.
